RVing to Wisconsin

The girls had this past Friday off from school.  We took advantage of the long weekend and went on a road trip.  My in-laws, Grampy & Grammy, just got an RV.  We all decided it would be fun to take the RV out to Wisconsin to visit my brother-in-law and his wife.  Keep in mind that we have never driven an RV anywhere before this trip.  Grampy and Ryan got a quick driving lesson and a small crash course about RVs, but that was it.

We headed out early on Friday morning.  It was a LONG trip to Wisconsin.  I think we were in the RV around 12-13 hours on Friday.  We had a few hiccups in our travel that delayed us a bit, but we made it to Wisconsin safe & sound.  It was so nice to see Brett (Ryan's brother) and his wife, Nikki.  We had a great time with them and squeezed in lots of fun over the weekend.   The girls really enjoyed spending time with their aunt & uncle.  The girls also liked traveling in the RV and "camping out" in the RV at night.  It was a wonderful weekend - I'm glad we made the trip.  The RV takes a little getting used to, but it's definitely a fun way to travel.

On Saturday the whole family headed to a farm for pumpkins and some fall fun!

After the farm, we watched the Husker game, carved a few pumpkins, and the girls "trick or treated" at Uncle Brett & Aunt Nikki's house so they could show off their costumes.
