Last weekend, Emma, Gracie, and their Girl Scout troops attended a Flag Workshop. The girls had a lot of fun and earned a new flag patch.
Emma and her some girls from her Daisy Troop. Aren't they cute?! Emma is the 3rd from the left.
Gracie and her Brownie Troop. Gracie is in the front on the right. My co-leader, Joanna, and I have a lot of fun with this group of girls.
My hubby was traveling this week and unfortunately had to miss out on Dads & Donuts at Emma's school. Uncle Joe (my brother) stepped in and took Emma. They had a fun time and enjoyed some yummy treats.
I had a Thanksgiving Celebration with the preschool class I teach. The kiddies made turkeys with fingerprint feathers. They turned out so cute. I'm really enjoying teaching preschool again. I'll have to post soon about my school year so far.
I found this card on Emma's bed. She made the bed and left me the card. It brought a smile to my face and made my day. Her Daisy troop is working on being friendly and helpful. They made these cards in our meeting and after they do something helpful without being asked, they leave the card behind.
Lily takes tap & ballet. She loves her dance class! Today was "watch day" and I was so excited to see her in action. Usually parents stay in the lobby during dance class. Twice a year though, the teacher lets the parents come in and observe class. Lily did such a good job today - she tapped her heart out. I was proud of my dancing girl.
We'll be spending the rest of the weekend catching up on some things around the house and getting ready for Thanksgiving. I'm looking forward to turkey dinner!

i have been super busy too. I think it is just that time of year. Love that your brother filled in. So sweet.
ReplyDeleteYour dancer is adorable. Sure wish my girls were doing girls scouts.
