The girls with our friends, Philip & Ella, in downtown Akron.
The gang at the National Inventors Hall of Fame. We thought the museum was open and the kids were so excited to check it out. Turns out the museum closed a few years ago, even though their website doesn't state this very important fact. There was a museum store and this very small "Hall of Fame" that was still open. We were disappointed, but had to document our travels with a pic. The clerk at the store sent us in the direction of another musuem - a fossil & science museum just out of Akron.
It turns out the "museum" was more of a house run by some very strange people. We stayed long enough to let the kiddies play in the outdoor play yard. All the kids ending up having a great time.
The girls loved this big slide.
The gang having fun on the merry go round.
The following day we went to a park in our town to meet my mom's best friend, Joanie, and her grandkids, Joey & Rita. The girls had sooo much fun playing with Joey & Rita. They all played together so well. My mom, Joanie, and I had a nice visit while the kiddies played.
The summer is flying by - we are trying hard to have fun and create some great memories!
