Gracie's good friend, Lizzie, spends her summers on Middle Bass Island in Ohio. Lizzie's parents and grandparents have homes there. We were invited to the island to spend a few days with Lizzie and her mom, Marie. Another friend of the girls - Abby and her mom joined us as well. We left Emma and Lily with Grammy and Grampy and headed to the island earlier this week. It was so nice to go away for a few days just Gracie and me. Gracie had a great time with her friends and I had a nice time hanging out with their moms. Marie and Lizzie were wonderful hosts. We really enjoyed the relaxed pace of the island.
