Apple Farm

I got a little behind with my blogging last week.  I was so busy preparing for the big Girl Scout campout last weekend, that I didn't post much.  Lily's preschool took a trip to the apple farm last week and it was such a nice time I wanted to be sure to post about it.  This was our 4th or 5th trip to the apple farm with the preschool.  It's always a fun trip.  There is a great play area for the kiddies to run around in and lots of yummy apples.  My mother-in-law, Sandy, went with Lily and me.

It was a picture perfect day, except that I forgot to put the battery in my good camera.  So I had my camera with me, but no battery.  I was sooo disappointed.  There were great pics to be had everywhere on the farm.  I had to settle for the camera on my iphone.   Bummer!  All the pics below are from my iphone.

Lily with her class on the apple orchard tour.  We learned all about apples and how they grow.  As you can tell, Lily was giving the tour guide her full attention.

Gala apples - so yummy!

Lily riding around on a tractor.

Lily wasn't too thrilled to take her picture in front of the sunflower field but she humored me and posed for a few shots.

This field was gorgeous! I think it's new this year, I don't remember ever seeing it in past years.   I was so upset I didn't have my good camera when I saw this field.  A perfect picture taking spot.

We had a very nice time at the orchard, it was a great field trip!
