Go Big Red!

My hubby was born and spent a good part of his childhood in Lincoln, Nebraska.  He is a die hard Husker football fan.  He loves watching his beloved team play football each Saturday during football season.  Every Saturday morning, he proudly displays his Husker flag and dresses up in his team gear.  He also likes seeing his girls dressed in Husker gear too.  Most Saturdays we oblige and put on some red.  Since today was the first game of the season, the girls and I got decked out in our Husker gear.

My hubby's brother, Brett, and his wife, Nikki are in town from Wisconsin.  They're staying at my in-laws place for the weekend.  We headed over there to spend some time with the family and hang out before the game tonight.  It's always nice to spend time with Brett & Nikki, since we don't get to see them very often.

Brett & Nikki's friends, Dan & Abbie, brought over their new puppy, Casey.  She's a super sweet puppy.  Gracie just loved playing with the puppy and walking her all around the yard.

We had a fun day visiting with everyone and pigging out on snack food all day.  It was a great way to kick off our Labor Day weekend!  

Busy day = a tired little girl.
